Cornelia Manor is a family-run home caring for people from the age of 65. Our management team oversee the day to day running of the homes with the help of senior and care staff. Our whole ethos is built around the comfort and happiness of each individual. Our care team led by Head of Care make sure each resident is attented to make each day is enjoyable and fun.

Caring for a loved one can be rewarding, but time off for both of you is essential. Short care breaks (respite) allow carers the time to recharge their batteries while offering their loved ones the reassurance of 24-hour care.

Cornelia Manor dates back to 1800 with lots of antique features and decorations still in working condition around the home. With two additional extensions built later and recently, the new wing with larger room and en-suite facilities added to form total of 34 beds.

We have excellent facilities at Cornelia Manor to help with the smooth running of the home and to make life comfortable and enjoyable for our residents.

My mother went to Cornelia Manor for 2 weeks respite and decided to make it her home where she felt safe and secure knowing there was always staff to help when needed, and where she could socialise with others in the lounge also dine together or in her own room. The staff were always friendly and helpful to visitors making us feel welcome. My mother was treated with care and compassion and always a smile from all staff regardless of their status.
